Terms and Conditions

Please read carefully before booking. Completing payment means you have read and agreed to everything below.

Last updated: 25 August 2026

Thank you for choosing the School. Please read these Terms and Conditions before making a booking and payment.

Completion of payment means that the person making the booking and all participants have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

The person making the booking or payment is responsible for informing all group members of these Terms and Conditions and bears ultimate responsibility for all group charges. The person making the booking and the payer must also confirm that all participants have understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions and must provide true, complete and accurate participant information.

1. Booking and Payment

  1. Payment only constitutes submission of a booking request. A booking is formally confirmed only after written confirmation is received from the School. Courses and places are non-transferable.
  2. If there is an obvious error in a displayed price, the system or any information, the School may correct it. If the School is unable to accept the booking, it may cancel the request and refund the course fee received.
  3. Before making payment, the student must confirm the date, time, ski resort, number of participants, course and price.
  4. All bookings are subject to instructor availability, ski resort conditions and the School’s capacity. The School determines whether to accept a booking.

2. Booking Changes

  1. Once a course has been confirmed, no changes will be accepted, including but not limited to the course content, participants and course time.
  2. If, in exceptional circumstances, the School agrees to a change, the student must pay a change fee equal to 10% of the original course fee. If the new course price is higher, the difference must be paid; if it is lower, the difference will not be refunded. Each booking may be changed no more than once. Once the new date is confirmed, no further change or cancellation may be made.
  3. A change takes effect only after it has been confirmed by the School in a written reply. Merely notifying the instructor does not constitute a formal change. All times are calculated according to Japan time.
  4. The School may change the instructor, meeting point or teaching area due to instructor arrangements, safety, weather, ski resort conditions or operational needs. Provided that the main course content is not materially reduced, this does not constitute a change or cancellation and is not grounds for a refund.

3. Booking Cancellation and Refund Policy

The classification of Off-Peak, Regular, Peak and Super Peak periods is based on the price list published by the School at the time of booking.

Peak / Super Peak Periods

After a booking has been confirmed, no refund, rescheduling or course credit will be provided for cancellation for personal reasons, non-attendance or late arrival by the student.

Off-Peak / Regular Periods

Cancellation TimeRefund Options
30 days or more before the course starts80% course credit; or a refund of 60% of the course fee
15–29 days before the course starts60% course credit; or a refund of 30% of the course fee
Within 14 days before the course startsNo refund and no course credit

Other Special Circumstances

  1. Full closure of the ski resort: The School may first arrange another ski resort, reschedule the course or provide course credit of an equal value. Only if none of these can be arranged will the course fee for the unprovided portion be refunded.
  2. No full closure: If the ski resort remains open, the School may adjust the meeting point and teaching content, and no refund will be provided, even in the event of severe weather, transport delays, partial lift closures or partial ski-run closures.
  3. Injury or illness: The student must notify the School before the course starts and provide valid medical evidence. After confirmation by the School, the School may, subject to availability, arrange one rescheduling within the same snow season or provide course credit equal to 90% of the course fee. No refund will be provided. Once the new date is confirmed, no further change may be made.

Course credit

Course credit cannot be redeemed for cash and must be used by the end of the next snow season; otherwise, it will expire. Before transferring it to another person, the student must notify the School and complete the required registration. When used, a new booking must be made based on the prices and availability at that time. Any shortfall must be paid, and any remaining balance may continue to be used within the validity period. The instructor, date, time and ski resort are not guaranteed.

Refund method

Where the School confirms that the refund conditions have been met, the refund will be returned to the original payment method, with a 10% refund handling fee deducted. The refund rates stated above for Off-Peak / Regular periods already include this fee and no additional fee will be charged.

4. Course Arrangements

  1. Courses begin and end at the scheduled times and include safety briefings, travel time and necessary breaks. A full-day course includes a one-hour lunch break, which is not teaching time.
  2. The course fee covers instruction only. It does not include lift tickets, equipment, clothing, food and beverages, transport or other personal expenses.
  3. Students must complete equipment rental and fitting and purchase lift tickets in advance. Time lost due to late arrival, equipment rental, ticket purchase, meals or other personal reasons will not be made up or refunded.

5. Children’s Courses

  1. The minimum age is 4 for skiing and 5 for snowboarding. For greater individual attention and a safer learning experience, we recommend one-to-one instruction for children aged 6 and under. The School reserves the right to adjust arrangements according to the child’s condition.
  2. The guardian must provide emergency contact details, remain contactable during the course and deliver and collect the child on time. Childcare before or after the course is not included. No fee will be charged for the first 15 minutes of late collection. After 15 minutes, JPY 4,000 will be charged for every 15 minutes, and any period of less than 15 minutes will be charged as 15 minutes.
  3. If a child has a health condition or special needs, the School must be informed in advance at the time of booking. If the School was not informed in advance and the child cannot participate safely, the School may refuse instruction and no refund will be provided.
  4. The guardian must ensure that the child has a valid lift ticket. Otherwise, any missed portion of the course will not be refunded or made up.
  5. The guardian acknowledges that a child’s participation in a ski course involves certain risks and assumes the related responsibility. The School and the instructor will use their best efforts to ensure safety but will not be liable for accidents or injuries caused by risks inherent in skiing.

6. Safety and Health

  1. Skiing involves risks including falls, collisions, weather, terrain and ski lifts. Students must use suitable equipment and comply with ski resort rules and the instructor’s directions. If a student has consumed alcohol, is under the influence of drugs or medication, leaves the group without permission, refuses safety directions, harasses others or engages in dangerous conduct, the School or the instructor may refuse or immediately stop the course. No replacement course or refund will be provided.
  2. Students must purchase their own valid ski insurance, which should include medical treatment, rescue and third-party liability coverage. If a student is uninsured or the insurance payout is insufficient, the student must pay all related expenses. To the extent permitted by law, all rescue, medical, transport, interpretation and related expenses are borne by the student. Students must look after their own mobile phones, cash, identification documents, ski equipment and other personal belongings. Unless otherwise required by law, the School and the instructor are not responsible for any loss, theft or damage.
  3. Students must confirm that they are physically fit to ski. If a student is pregnant, injured or has a health condition, the student must inform the School when booking or before the course. If the student’s ability level differs from the booking information, the instructor may adjust the teaching content, speed and area according to safety and on-site conditions. This is not grounds for rescheduling or a refund.

7. Image Rights and Use of Images

  1. During a course, the School and its instructors may take photographs or videos of students as learning records and may use them for the School’s promotional or educational purposes, such as on websites, social media, presentations or printed materials, to share course highlights.
  2. If a student does not wish their photographs or videos to be used, the student only needs to notify the School in writing or by email before the course starts. The School and its instructors will fully respect and comply with the student’s wishes.

8. Force Majeure

Except for a full closure of the ski resort as otherwise provided in these Terms and Conditions, if a course is cancelled, changed, delayed or unable to proceed normally due to weather, transport, natural disasters, government regulations, ski resort operations or other circumstances beyond the School’s reasonable control, the School will not provide a refund and will not be liable for transport, accommodation, lift tickets, equipment or other related losses. The School may decide, according to the actual circumstances, whether to assist with rescheduling or provide course credit.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of a dispute, the parties must first attempt to resolve it through consultation. If no resolution is reached, the Japanese court having jurisdiction over the School’s principal place of business will be the court of first instance, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
