One price covers the whole group. The amount depends on the resort, the price period your dates fall in, and whether you book a half day or a full day. Pick your dates on the prices page and the exact figure is shown to you, including 10% consumption tax.

Yes. Requesting a Level 1/2 instructor costs ¥6,000 for a half day or ¥7,000 for a full day. Requesting a Level 3+ instructor or examiner costs ¥15,000 for a half day or ¥20,000 for a full day. The fee is charged for each lesson it applies to and is listed as its own line on your quote. In return that instructor teaches your lesson and their time slot is held for you.

The price is the same for a group of 1–4 guests. From the 5th guest onwards, each additional person is ¥10,000. The final price depends on the resort, date, and whether you choose a half-day or full-day lesson.

Instruction only. Lift passes, lift tickets and equipment rental are not included and you arrange those yourself. Lesson time includes breaks and equipment fitting, and a full day includes one hour for lunch.

The classification of Off-Peak, Regular, Peak and Super Peak periods is based on the price list published by the School at the time of booking. Pick your dates online and the price that applies to those dates is shown to you.

Niseko Grand Hirafu, Niseko Annupuri, Rusutsu and Kiroro. Rusutsu and Kiroro are full day only. You can use different resorts on different days within the same booking.

Peak / Super Peak — once a booking has been confirmed, no refund, rescheduling or course credit is provided for cancellation for personal reasons, non-attendance or late arrival.
Off-Peak / Regular — 30 days or more before the course starts: 80% course credit, or a refund of 60% of the course fee. 15–29 days before: 60% course credit, or a refund of 30%. Within 14 days of the course start: no refund and no course credit.
Refunds go back to the original payment method with a 10% handling fee deducted. The percentages above already include that fee — nothing further is charged. Read the full Terms and Conditions before booking.

If there is a full closure of the ski resort, the School may first arrange another ski resort, reschedule the course or provide course credit of an equal value. Only if none of these can be arranged will the course fee for the unprovided portion be refunded. If the ski resort remains open, the School may adjust the meeting point and teaching content, and no refund will be provided, even in the event of severe weather, transport delays, partial lift closures or partial ski-run closures.

The student must notify the School before the course starts and provide valid medical evidence. After confirmation by the School, the School may, subject to availability, arrange one rescheduling within the same snow season or provide course credit equal to 90% of the course fee. No refund will be provided. Once the new date is confirmed, no further change may be made.

Before your first lesson we get in touch to confirm the meeting point with you and your instructor. If you have not heard from us, please contact us. Please allow about 30 minutes before the lesson to get dressed, complete equipment rental and purchase your lift pass, then arrive at the agreed meeting point on time.

Yes. Optional round-trip transfers are available between your Niseko accommodation and the resort. The price is ¥5,000 per vehicle for Niseko resorts or ¥7,000 for Rusutsu or Kiroro, including one person. Each additional passenger is ¥2,000, up to five people per vehicle. Guests in the same group and accompanying family members are welcome to travel together. Transfers are arranged in advance, and vehicle availability will be confirmed before your booking is finalised.

The minimum age is 4 for skiing and 5 for snowboarding. For greater individual attention and a safer learning experience, we recommend one-to-one instruction for children aged 6 and under. Please tell us about any health conditions or special needs when you book so we can arrange the lesson safely.

Our instructors teach in Mandarin, Cantonese, English and Japanese. You choose the language when you book and we match an instructor who teaches in it.

Yes. You can book a run of days and mix half days and full days however you like — for example an afternoon on the first day, full days in the middle, and a morning on the last day. A family can also split into groups, each with its own instructor, within the same booking.

Yes. Students must purchase their own valid ski insurance, which should include medical treatment, rescue and third-party liability coverage. If a student is uninsured or the insurance payout is insufficient, the student must pay all related expenses.

Yes. Pinnacle instructors must meet guests outside Hanazono, then accompany them or travel with them by vehicle into the resort. We cannot arrange the initial meeting or start the lesson at the Hanazono base, but instruction can begin on the mountain after entering together. This arrangement is not available to guests staying within the Hanazono Resort Area.
